Brad McLain

Staff Counselor

Two decades helping individuals and couples find understanding, and change.

Brad McLain has spent more than twenty years helping clients navigate stress, transition, and relationship challenges. Before becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor, he practiced law for many years, guiding clients through complex and emotionally charged situations. That experience deepened his understanding of how conflict, uncertainty, and communication breakdowns affect us, and now informs his work as a therapist.

Brad holds a Master of Science in Counseling and a Master of Theological Studies from Southern Methodist University, integrating psychological, relational, and spiritual perspectives into his approach. He helps adults, couples, and families work through anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and relationship struggles.

He specializes in couples therapy, helping partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional intimacy. His work centers on the patterns and beliefs that can keep people feeling stuck or disconnected, and on helping couples find new ways of relating that foster both closeness and change.

Brad believes that change begins with understanding: of ourselves, our stories, and the patterns we carry forward from our families and past experiences. By bringing these into awareness, clients can make intentional choices, build resilience, and create more fulfilling connections.
