From an early age, Kristen found that her warmth, kindness, and listening ear helped friends, family, and even strangers cope with the emotions they were experiencing.
As she grew up, she realized that becoming a counselor was a natural fit.
Kristen earned a Masters in Clinical Psychology in 2010 and has worked in private practice since then. Over the years, she has continued to focus on helping people struggling with emotional and relational pain through a unique counseling style called Psychodynamic or Psychoanalytic Counseling. In this approach, we help people get to the root cause of their pain. We help people know their story and make better connections.
In 2021, Kristen opened Connections Counseling Center to bring together counselors who use the same counseling approach to help our community make real, lasting change.
Kristen has a wide variety of experience with children through geriatric patients. She now focuses on helping patients with longterm depression who want to overcome their pain and find happiness, joy, and fulfillment and couples therapy to help couples better know themselves and each other and to communicate with more love and connection.
